Mistake 1: Wrong preposition with time > โ I was born in May 15th. > โ I was born on May 15th.
โ At 2024, the company expanded. > โ In 2024, the company expanded.
Mistake 2: Wrong preposition with verb > โ I depend of my parents. > โ I depend on my parents.
โ We are discussing about the problem. > โ We are discussing the problem. (no preposition โ discuss is transitive)
Mistake 3: Wrong preposition in Task 1 descriptions > โ The graph shows an increase of sales. > โ The graph shows an increase in sales.
โ Sales increased of 20%. > โ Sales increased by 20%.
โ Sales rose at $50 million. > โ Sales rose to $50 million. (endpoint) > โ Sales rose by 20%. (change) > โ Sales rose from $30 to $50 million. (range)
