The line graph below shows the percentage of adults using the internet daily in three age groups (18-29, 30-49, and 50+) in Australia between 2000 and 2020.
The 18-29 age group rose from 41% in 2000 to 72% in 2005, reached 91% in 2010, and stabilised at around 97% between 2015 and 2020.
The 30-49 age group began at 28% in 2000, climbed to 58% in 2005, 82% in 2010, 92% in 2015, and 95% in 2020.
The 50+ age group started at just 9% in 2000, rising to 22% in 2005, 41% in 2010, 63% in 2015, and 78% in 2020.
