Users must be at least fourteen years old; under-eighteens require a parent's signed consent.

**Scheme B — Riverpath Adventures** A private operator focused on visitors rather than residents. Riverpath specialises in guided riding tours along the river and the canal. Hires include a helmet, a map marked with recommended routes, and a GPS tracker that records the route for the rider to keep afterwards. Standard half-day hire is £22; a full day is £35. Bicycles must be collected and returned to the single shop at the harbour; no drop-off elsewhere is permitted.

**Scheme C — Workday Ride** A commuter-focused scheme offered through participating employers. Employees whose employer subscribes pay a monthly deduction from their salary in exchange for unlimited use of a dedicated bicycle, maintained by Workday. The bicycle is stored at the employer's premises overnight and taken home by the employee at weekends. Not available to employees of non-participating organisations.

**Scheme D — Harbour Electric** A small fleet of electric-assisted bicycles aimed at riders who want to ride longer distances or tackle the steeper roads around the harbour. Prices start at £6 for the first hour and £4 for each additional hour, with a daily cap of £25. Riders must be eighteen or over and must complete a free ten-minute briefing on battery use and brake handling before their first hire.
