Ashmere Post Office offers a full range of postal services, together with a growing number of other services that customers can use in the same visit.

**Standard postal services.** First-class stamps, second-class stamps, parcel postage and international deliveries are all available at the counter or from the self-service machine in the lobby. The self-service machine accepts card payment only and is open 24 hours a day.

**Tracked and Signed delivery.** Any item sent using the Tracked and Signed service must be handed in at the counter rather than posted in the box outside. Proof of postage is given at the point of hand-in. Parcels above 2 kg are accepted only between 9 am and 4 pm on weekdays.

**Pick-up and drop-off for online returns.** Customers returning items to online retailers such as Zendora and BrightBox can drop these off at the counter. A QR code or paper label from the retailer is required. Most returns of this kind do not require a printed receipt but a confirmation text is sent to the customer's mobile.

**Travel money.** Euros and US dollars are always stocked. Other currencies can be ordered, free of charge, with at least two working days' notice. Commission is not charged on purchases of £300 or more.

**Bill payments and vehicle tax.** Several utility companies and the DVLA are set up to accept payment at the counter. A reference number from the relevant bill or tax reminder is required. Vehicle tax renewal can also be processed online; the post office does not charge a fee for doing so on the customer's behalf.
